Let's Get Personal

This here blog has been alive for a little over 3-4 months and I want to take the time today to answer some questions that will help you, my lovelies, get to know me a little bit better. So whether you're a newbie to my neck of the woods, or you've been a faithful follower since the beginning of conception... Thank you for your time and enjoy!

1. What is your current passion in life?

Honestly, {this is going to sound so cheesy} life. I am so grateful for each day that the good Lord has blessed me with and I try to live each day without anger and to the fullest. A shallow passion... Coffee. Iced coffee to be exact.

2. What's a random fact about you that many people might not know?

Well, many people know, but a lot don't... I'm actually hearing impaired. I've worn hearing aids in both ears since I was 1 years old. I've gone through 7 surgeries throughout my whopping 25 years of life that revolved around my ears/neck. I have a syndrome that's called "Branchio-Oto-Renal" and basically it covers kidneys, ears, and neck abnormalities. The syndrome that runs on my mother's side of the family doesn't affect our kidneys; we just have hearing loss, some facial paralysis (thus my crooked smile-which I love! Seriously), and cysts that have and can form in our necks. When I was younger, I was super self-conscious about it but as I've gotten older, I really could care less what people think. The ones who love me for my flaws are the ones worth keeping in my life anyways.

3. If you won the lottery, what would you do?

Pay off my debts, pay off my parents' debts, buy property, build a small cottage on it, and set up a rescue foundation and refuge for neglected animals.

4. Where do you want to see your blog a year from now?

Hopefully still alive! I just love connecting with people, making friends, and sharing my life song.

5. Where do you want to see yourself in 5 years?

Married with a kid pretty please :) But hey, God's got a vision that is waayyyyy bigger than mine so wherever He wants me, I'll follow!
