#Grateful Heart Monday's

As always, the weekend flew by in a blur and Monday has arrived. I wouldn't expect anything less of ya, Monday.

Honestly though, Monday's have become one of my most favorite days in the blog world because it's a day I can take a moment, stop, and just appreciate all that I have been given. Thank you Emily for providing this outlet of therapy!

Today's gratefulness is a bit random... But hey! That's what I am!

I'm first and foremost always so thankful for my friends and family. Thank you to those who spent time with me this weekend for my birthday - I am beyond humbled by ya'lls love. Thank you to all for the sweet birthday wishes and the happy birthday songs sung and sent via text. Thank you, God, for these amazing people in my life. Without them, I am lost.

I'm so thankful for those that serve and protect our country. A good friend of Hunter's (who is actually a groomsman!) is in the military and has been away for some more training. We helped his girlfriend (who is one of mine and Hunter's absolute best friends) move this past Saturday and all I could think about was how thankful I was that we could help her out while he's away at training.

Ya'll may laugh but honestly, I'm so grateful for data plans for phones. Goodness, when you run out of data (no thanks to your 15 year old sister..........) and you're without all of the lovely apps, man oh man life gets tough. Kidding folks, I'm not that vain. But it's definitely a reality check when you realize how dependent you have become on a stupid little computer device.

So this is a sort of half-butt grateful thing: I'm sort of grateful for all this rain we've been having because it makes my flowers grow. But it's making my grass grow so fast that we can't keep up with cutting it. Stop raining now, mmkthanks!

What are ya'll grateful for on this lovely Monday?

  1. Happy belated birthday! I hope you had a blast!! Data is such an important thing in our lives. I had to switch to unlimited. If not I always go over. It's worth the extra $20 a month

  3. Happy birthday!!! I hope you celebrated like crazy and ate a lot of delicious cake!! :)
My little bro was in the Marines and his wife had to do a lot of things on her own when he was training and/or deployed. She was always sooo grateful to friends who were nearby and willing to help her out. It's a wonderful thing to do!!

  8. You guys are the absolute BEST for helping your friend move, especially during a time she probably appreciates your company so, so much! And I totally agree with the phone/plan/apps. I don't really notice it until I'm out of town and use just about every app to stay in touch w/ everyone! I'm so glad you had such a fabulous birthday, Kelly! And thank you for linking up today!!! :)
