#GratefulHeartMonday + Groom's Style

The saying "time flies when you're having fun" is so true. This past holiday weekend went by in the blink of an eye!

Did ya'll have a good weekend? I sure hope so. Mine was wonderful! Coming back after a long weekend away can be hard, but Emily has helped make that transition so much easier!

On this beautiful Monday, I'm so grateful for time I get to spend with my husband-to-be. Especially when it comes to shopping - suit shopping for the wedding in particular.

Ya'll, my guy is worse than a hormonal woman shopping on Black Friday. He either wants it all, or wants none of it. Bless me... But! He did great on these shopping trips that we've done over the last few days.

I knew that going into this, shopping for suits for Hunter would be interesting. He's a big guy - as in tall, broad shoulders, and muscular build. One thing may fit one way, while something else fits completely different.

Originally, Hunter had wanted to wear a nice pair of jeans, white button down shirt with tie, and a tan/khaki colored vest with the jacket. He then decided he wanted to do the entire outfit as a tan/khaki colored suit for the wedding, then change into jeans for the reception. As we were shopping for his idea, he then decided he wanted to do khaki pants, navy jacket with a white shirt underneath, and some styling shoes.

Hey, I'm really okay with anything just as long as he remembers to show up. And is dressed.

I'm also really okay with anything he wears because the wedding day is just as much his day, as it is mine. It is, afterall, OUR wedding day. So I want to him to be comfortable in what he's wearing.

Now ya'll know I wouldn't be a good blogger if I didn't snap some pics of this whole experience.

Action shot, ya'll

Hellluurrrr fella

He liked this tie

You ask did we find something he liked? The answer ladies is a resounding not yet. But soon, hopefully. Ha! He did try on the suit style he has in mind for our wedding day. I did not snap any pics of those because if that is in fact what he chooses to wear, I want it to be a surprise. Like my dress. Duh.

Hope ya'll have a wonderful Monday!

  3. Ok that tie and jacket look FABULOUS together! I feel your pain girl, Harrison is a big guy too and now has all of his suits tailor made. I want to throw up when I see the price tag. But it might actually be worth it to not have to deal with the hormonal-woman-on-black-friday status hahaha!

  4. Um, you guys are nothing short of adorable. I love reading posts about the two of you! That TIE!!!! Love. I love that you are both going to surprise each other with what you wear! I went shopping with X to get his wedding day outfit... he knows what he likes but has a hard time putting it all together (he's tall too - 6'3"- , which makes it tough sometimes!) So glad you got the pictures.. you will be able to look back on that day and smile! :)

  7. I love the outfit! My brother is getting married in 2 weeks and his groomsman just told me that he hasn't had his suit altered, told them what color shirts to wear, or what their ties are!
