So Much Love: Liebster Award

Milda @ Naps & Cupcakes and Raven @ Heels and Harmony so sweetly nominated me for Liebster Awards. Ya'll, this love is so amazing and unreal! I am completely humbled by the sweet words and nominations :)

I've decided to take about half of the questions posed by Ms. Milda and half of the questions posed by Ms. Raven to answer for ya'll. Here ya go!

 

Why did you start your blog?

I started my blog as a way to share my life song with others. I never did the "Dear Journal" thing but more of "Dear God" letters. If I was excited about something, upset, fretting... whatever, I would find the closest piece of paper around and just pour my heart out. The blog kind of serves as that "paper."

 

What inspires you?

Genuine people. People who are kind and wonderful simply because it's what they are. They don't have to fake their way through relationships or life. We need more folks like that!

 

What do you do on your free time?

Free time? What's that?? Ha! I like to be outside. Whether it's by a pool, at the beach, riding around, hunting, you name it. I want to be outside!

 

If you could live anywhere, without worrying about expenses, where would you live?

Anywhere?? That's a toughie. I'm torn between Hawaii and somewhere out west lol! Of course, because I wouldn't have to worry about expenses, I would build homes for mine and Hunter's family to live near us. I want our children to grow up with both grandparents in their lives.

 

What is your most precious possession?

Currently, my new engagement ring (yes, I'm swooning) and my Duck Commander Devotional book that some very sweet friends gave to me for being baptized Easter weekend. I cannot wait to start reading it!

 

You never leave your house without…

My phone. I swear, the times I don't have it, everything falls apart and I'm stranded.

 

What accomplishment are you most proud of?

I can only pick one?! Graduating college (because that was a hard battle for me- work full time and go to school full time). I'm so blessed to have had the opportunity to do it and be able to finish strong.

 

When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?

A mom

 

If you were trapped on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you?

A brush (cuz this mane is unruly man), toothbrush/toothpaste (does that count as one?! I can't stand dirty teeth, ya'll), and underwear? I guess if the island is deserted then nobody will see my skinny butt on the beach if I decide to go commando, just sayin.

 

What's your favorite season?

Summer, hands down. I do like them all for different reasons, but I'm a Florida girl so my sunshine is my BFF4E.

 

What's the coolest thing you've ever done?

 Hmm... I'm really not that cool of a person so... start a blog I guess!
