What what?! It's October! Which meanssss.....
- Our wedding month
- Halloween... we like to carve "punkins" 'round here
- Cooler weather (yea right, it's Florida)
- Leggings, boots, sweaters, and all things punkin
- Pumpkin ale/beer
I'm thoroughly excited for this month. So many big and wonderful things are happening that sometimes we forget to slow down and appreciate the little things. Like these...
I'm trying to be better and not drop boocoo's of money by going to get my iced coffee every morning before work. I'm sorry ya'll, but I need iced coffee to function #firstworldprobs. So my mom so sweetly bought me some Starbucks iced coffees that I can grab on the go. Winner winner chicken dinner.
Hunter and I had dinner with 2 of the sweetest friends around last night. I tell ya'll, Ms. Jessie is a gem and a gal after my own heart! I mean... Just look at this cute envelope! The gifts though, that's for a whole post on it's own. I can't wait to share it!
And finally, this picture from last night. He's trying so hard to maintain his sanity. I swear, I don't miss college one bit. I've thought about going back for grad school, and I know I will one day. But right now? Ain't happenin' capt'n. I have to help this kid get through his ha!
These are just a few of my favorite things right now. If I had to list all of my favorite things, the list would never end. I will say this - One of my most favorite things right now in my life is the love Hunter and I have been receiving and will continue to receive from family and friends, and their utmost support for our marriage. God has truly blessed us with some fabulous folks.
I thank my God in all my remembrance of you

ReplyDeleteHappy Wedding Month!!! A year ago I was in your shoes!
ReplyDeleteHappy wedding month! So exciting. I have the same problem with ice coffee. Can't Starbucks have a membership price or something??
ReplyDeleteSo we were recently gifted a K-Cup Keurig. I'm not a hot coffee fan but I LOVE ICED COFFEE. Well guess what...I can do it on the keurig! I brew the coffee the night before, stick it in the fridge, add creamer and syrup the next morning. YUM-O and cheap!! You can also apparently brew it right into a cup of ice but I don't want immediate meltage so I haven't tried it that way yet.
