Winner winner chicken dinner
do I do when my brain is scattered?
That's right - I make lists.
- Meet with realtor today and go over the steps for the selling process
- Will I be able to sell quickly?!
- Oh my gosh, my neighbors have all their crap out by the road. Seriously, thanks for dropping the value of my house.
- Did I scrub that tub good enough?? Presentation people. Presentation.
- God, can we have a nice and smooth transition from our house to Nene's (Hunter's grandmother) house?
- If I can't sell it by April/May (which is when we can get into Nene's house) that means I have to put renters in my house while I sell it. This realtor is dabomb.com for holding court with renters.
- SHUT. THE. FRONT. DOOR. My AC is broke in the house. God whyy?!!? Oh wait, I just need to change the filter. Home Depot here we come.
- Is it really that hot in here?? Will the realtor notice?? Oh God.
- Did I put on deoderant?!

3 Southern Gals Link-up
Welcome to another week of #throwbackthursday with the 3 Southern Gals!
Can I be real with ya'll this week? I can? Okay, great...
Hi, my name is Kelly. And I just got Twitter like... a few months ago. Ya'll, I honestly never understood the excitement behind Twitter, and still don't. Yea, it's great for the blog but.... Let's be honest. If I didn't have the blog, would I have a Twitter account?
Probably not.
Wooo, I'm glad I got that off my chest! In honor of all my previous doubt and lack of fascination with the Twitter bug, I decided I would share my very first tweet.
Did ya'll go check it out?? Wasn't it special?
Know what else ya'll should go check out? This link-up and the other 2 fabulous ladies that are hosting it with me! Seriously, all the cool kids are doing this link-up. Drink the kool-aid!
A side note friends: Sweet Mrs. Cat's computer and cord have decided to die altogether on her, and she hasn't been able to resurrect the little beast. Sadly, she won't be able to finish her love story this week but she will definitely be back next week with the goods. Still go check out her blog!

Welcome back Y'all to another week with the 3 Southern Gals.
This Throwback Thursday Link Party has been such a blast.
We have met some amazing bloggers and read some incredible post.
As always thank you for sharing and linking up with us!!
So what is so great about this link party? Anyone can link up!! You can share a post you wrote today that shares old pictures and/or stories... But if you already have something else scheduled for today, or maybe you just found this link-up, no worries....link up an old blog post. We just ask if you link up a previous blog posting, that it be older than a week old. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask one of us.
Before you link up please read and make sure you are following the party guidelines :)
The Rules are Simple:
1. Make sure you are following ALL 3 of the Southern Gals Blogs.
2. Link up your throwback blog post. This includes a post where you share old pictures and/or stories. OR you may also share a blog post that was posted prior to last week.
In other words please do not link up to your blogs home page, a post you wrote this week that does not include something from the past.
3. Please no giveaways, shops, or other linkups.
(as these would also not fall into the throwback category)
4. Share our party button and/or link back to our party.

5. Don't just link and run...check our some other TBT post.
5. Don't just link and run...check our some other TBT post.
6. HAVE FUN!!!
****NOTICE****
We want this to be a fun link up, so link up your post!! Lets reminisce together. All we ask if that if you link up, PLEASE follow ALL the rules. We really do not want to delete links. Honestly this is the last thing we want to do, but these link parities take a lot of our time an effort. In return we just need for you to be respectful to our party and to others. In the past linkups we have had a few each week that have not followed all the rules. Going forward we will have to delete any link that does not follow the party rules.

Looking back and moving forward
**Most of these pictures are older (before blogging time) so I do apologize for poor quality. Home girl didn't know she'd be blogging and would need good pics down the road #badblogger
I'm always finding new things that I love! Whether it's something as big as meeting with caterers for our wedding, or a new app... New things are always exciting.
In the month of June, I was absolutely loving my vacation time away from work to be in North Carolina with my youth kids doing mission work.
I always know how to be goofy
In the month of June, bathing suits were my loves. Maybe not necessarily purchasing any (Lord knows I have one too many), but just being able to wear those suckers around the pool.
In the month of June, Hunter and I were able to meet with a caterer and that was just uber exciting. It just reminded us that the big day is growing so close. Weeee!!
And finally, in the month of June, I was loving all the time spent with friends and family. There really isn't enough time in the day to be with these amazing people in my life.
With all of those wonderful things that happened in June, I can't help but be hopeful for July. July is my birth month afterall! Anne has always shown me how to be positive and encouraging for a new day.
Hey hey hey hey
In the month of July, I hope to have all the minor (yet frustrating) details of our wedding done. We just want to be able to sit back and relax the rest of our engagement.
In the month of July, I hope to drink lots of frozen strawberry margaritas because, duh, it's my birth month. And because I'm so certain that I was Hispanic in a past life.
In the month of July, I hope for some amazing trips to the local beaches here. #floridagirl

Cuz I don't dance...
Over 3 years ago, I was so smitten by his sweet smile, his caring heart, and his southern ways. He had stolen my heart early on. As our time together grew and we began to learn more about each other, it was when he fully decided to follow Christ that I just fell head over heels in love with him.
Don't get me wrong, I was in love with him before he decided to follow whole-heartedly his Savior. But once Hunter made that decision to walk in the Spirit, I had never experienced a love and respect for somebody as deep as I did for him.
I'm talking gut-wrenching admiration for a man that I didn't know was possible. Because he was adament in loving like Christ did, loving him became so easy. And amazingly, that love and respect only deepens with each passing breath.
For me, the latest song by Lee Brice called "I Don't Dance" reminds me so much of Hunter's journey over the last 3 years. He used to be hard-headed, go-with-the-flow kind of guy. A guy that loved, but with reservations. He'll be the first to admit that, in essence, he "didn't dance."
I’ll never settle down,
That’s what I always thought
Yeah, I was that kind of man,
just ask anyone
That’s what I always thought
Yeah, I was that kind of man,
just ask anyone
As we have grown closer over the years, and as he learned to trust and love like Christ, his heart melted and he opened up. It was inspiring and still is to this day, and moves me in so many ways to be a better woman.
Thank you Lord for loving my husband-to-be so much that you changed his heart. Thank you Lord for bringing a man into my life that loves me just as you want him to. Thank you Lord for our every day struggles, triumphs, and dreams because we're experiencing them together.
I thank God EVERY DAY for Hunter's life intertwining with mine, and for allowing me to be a part of his.
Love’s never come my way,
I’ve never been this far
Cause you took these two left feet
And waltzed away with my heart
I’ve never been this far
Cause you took these two left feet
And waltzed away with my heart
Hunter, for a man that never danced, it's been a blessing dancing with you. I cannot wait to dance away the rest of our lives. I love you.
