Momma's Cooking: Wedding Food

So a couple of weeks ago, I very briefly mentioned a meeting with a caterer that Hunter and I had had. She was great, super sweet, and very professional. Unfortunately, her pricing was a bit high for our taste buds. We were so bummed that she wouldn't work out for us.

Then, a family friend of ours happened to stop by the house last weekend. He also happens to work for a local caterer. He happened to make a phone call to said caterer to see if she would be interested.

Hunter and I met with this wonderful woman last week and ya'll, she is perfect in every way!! We're able to get a wonderful menu for a price that is wayy less than we were expecting. God is so good!

Cruton & Company (is that not the cutest name ever?!) will be catering our big event. Now I know ya'll wouldn't expect anything less of us fine southern folks when it comes to food so of course we're going to be having all the fixin's:

Fried chicken
Mac n' cheese
Southern style collard greens
Corn muffins

My mouth is already watering! Pair up this delish meal with a choice of sweet tea, lemonade, water, beer, or wine and we're all set for the night.

This Monday, I am so so so grateful that we were able to find a caterer who has a wonderful heart, an eye for details, and can cook some good southern comfort food.
